I love tulips. They are colourful symbols of spring and signify that winter is finally over. This one was photographed in April 24 but I am releasing it in December for my "just in time for" Christmas print release, as it has a bright and festive personality. It will only be available until December 8th, in very small and exclusive editions, and will reach you in time for Christmas whether ordered framed or unframed.
Orange tulips carry a bright and positive energy, and represent enthusiasm, vitality, and a zest for life.
This macro photograph is merged from a 50 shot focus stack for maximum depth of field. As with so many botanicals it looks rather heroic when scaled up as a large format print.
