Macaw parrot #6
Macaw parrot #6
A Green-Winged Macaw parrot in flight. These large parrots can be mistaken for a Scarlet Macaw as their plumage is mainly red from the front. They are the second largest parrots next to the Hyacinth Macaw with a wingspan of up to 50 inches or 125 cm. They can reach speeds of up to 35 mph in flight, which makes them quite difficult to photograph when flying straight towards you!
Archival pigment print on smooth matt Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm heavyweight art paper.
