As tulips bloom in spring, they are broadly associated with renewal and the start of new phases. Tulips represent unconditional love and are perfect for your partner, children, parents or siblings.
Different colours have different meanings. Pink tulips are often given to express feelings of care and affection, making them suitable for friends, family, or someone you admire. While red tulips are often associated with passionate, deep love, pink tulips can represent a more gentle love, such as in the early stages of a romantic relationship or to express affection in a less intense, yet still meaningful way.
Like most of my flower portraits this image is focus stacked for maximum depth of field. This one is blended from 60 shots at slightly different focal points to create an almost hyper-realistic effect.
