Honesty (Lunaria) is a cottage garden favourite. As the generic name suggests the Honesty plant is associated with the Moon. Also femininity, fertility.. and money. I love the flattened round seed heads which in early summer are a vivid green and then become increasingly translucent and as they dry out. Indeed these silvery discs give it the popular name "money plant".
As with so many botanicals they look rather epic when magnified as large format prints!
