The boa constrictor is found in tropical South America, as well as some islands in the Caribbean. Their jaws are lined with small, hooked teeth for grabbing and holding prey while they wrap their muscular bodies around their victim, squeezing until it suffocates. They will eat almost anything they can catch, including birds, monkeys, wild pigs, and can be dangerous to humans. Their jaws can stretch wide to swallow large prey whole. Adult boas can range from 6 to 14 feet in length.
