These small deer bones are no more than 20mm in size but when scaled up in isolation become abstract sculptural objects in their own right. They serve to remind us of the graphic beauty to be found in Nature’s grand design at whatever level of detail we choose to observe.
Each image blends together many shots to create pin sharp detail from the nearest to the furthest points. They are captured using a macro lens on a Hasselblad medium format digital camera for maximum resolution and dramatic impact at even the largest format print sizes.
