This Botanical Optical image is created from a single photograph selected from hundreds of time-lapse photographs of Stargazer Lilies made over a period of 230 hours as they flowered. It is also the first Botanical Optical on white!
Pink Stargazer lilies symbolise prosperity and abundance.The lily family has traditionally represented innocence and purity. Artistic representations date back to ancient Greek and Roman civilizations and have been traced back to the Bronze Age in Crete. Lilies are mentioned in the Old Testament and New Testaments, where they can also symbolise chastity and virtue.
