Black Parrot Tulips are a velvety purple-black colour with striking scallops and feathery fringes. With a flamboyant star quality, one of the most unique and stunning varieties of tulip has to be the Parrot Tulip. They produce large irregular-shaped flowers with exotic petals that resemble the feathers of a tropical parrot. Flowering from April into May, Parrot Tulips produce some of the most spectacular striations of color.
