This little fellow is a Veiled Chameleon, sometimes called a cone-headed chameleon. He is about 6 inches long but looks pretty awesome printed up to the size of a small dinosaur.
The distinctive protrusion on his head serves to channel water droplets down into the reptiles’ mouth, a useful feature in their dry habitats. They are solitary tree-dwellers native to Saudi Arabia and Yemen, and eat mainly insects, grabbing their prey with long, sticky tongues.
